Otto Bulldog
Papa Buck Lane and a few other farmers in the South kept dogs known as White English Bulldog or just Bulldog that he always named Otto. The Preferred White English Bulldogs from 75 to 100 miles around Rebecca Georgia were known as the Carr Family Bulldogs. To own a pure bred Carr dog simply meant being a family member, a friend of the family, or a friend of a friend, because in those days bulldogs were rarely sold to the public, as they were priceless gifts.
The Otto Bulldog is an all around working farm, ranch, and plantation bulldog for the defense of livestock and family. These dogs actually have jobs rounding up and controlling livestock, including unruly cattle and swine which lends itself to why this breed became an all around hunting dog!
Otto Bulldogs must always be submissive to handling by the family members from discipline to praise. Protective but not aggressive and calm demeanor as not to startle livestock into stampede. Finally these traits are hereditary to the breed thus requiring no formal training.
